Honestly, anyone coming to a thread with this title should expect there might be spoilers. Before I saw the movie, I stayed away from anything that even had the possibility of spoilers.

I wanted to see it early today since I’m off on fridays, but apparently everybody took the day off since they’re all sold out.
We got our tickets eight days in advance, and still had to search around to find a showing that still had seats.

My daughter saw it at a special showing two days before it opened. She loved it.

My son and I saw it yesterday at a matinee showing.
I was so worried about spoilers beforehand.
To be honest, I don’t think it would’ve mattered one way or another if I knew the whole story before seeing it.
We watched “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” in the evening at home, and agreed Guardians was somewhat more enjoyable.

Saw it last night. The theater has showings started roughly 15 minutes apart. Available seats were kinda crappie thru midnight. Looked at the 3D that was going to start in a half hour from when we arrived. Plenty of good seats, so we took those. It was maybe half full at best. The non 3D were full. Interesting!

Enjoyed it. I waited out the end credits, but nada.

My son went on and on about what that sound meant. I checked YouTube and there are already loads of nerds speculating on the meaning of it.

My favorite thing about moments like this is that it gets my teenage son chatting away enthusiastically with his mom. 😍

There is a scene where a man shares his experience of going on a date with another man. It is really an unnecessary scene in the movie as well… any thoughts on this part?
Honestly, I totally missed the part about it being a “date”. I thought he was just talking about a friend or family member. My wife had to point it out to me after the fact.

I’ve been seeing references to this in many corners of the Catholic internet. On the left is the reliquary for St. Teresa of Avila’s incorrupt hand. On the right is the Infinity Gauntlet. 🙂

Seemed like it was coming. Something to bristle over, and rather out of character for Steve Rogers to commend, but it passes quickly enough.
The movie as a whole is fantastic. Especially last 40min to an hour.

ELECTRO?? The Spider-Man villain? Or Shocker, the other Spider-Man villain?

All in jest 😀

I purchased my ticket a few days before. 11:00 a.m. showing at an AMC just outside the D.C. Beltway (Maryland side). I was in the D.C. area for a swing dance weekend, DC Lindy Exchange, and had the day on Friday free. When booking, had no problem getting a wheelchair accessible space.

This was the second time I’ve seen an Avengers movie while on vacation. I saw the first one in Branson (in IMAX!) back in 2012. That was during the week, though, not opening day.
