Just wondering about how many people here have never been to a Catholic marriage ceremony. I’m almost 25, and I’ve only been to one wedding (and it was Presbyterian!). I thought I was alone in this, but then I discovered that the first marriage ceremony one of my former professors attended was his own. Thus far in my life, I’ve attended many more funerals (Catholic and non-Catholic) than weddings. Actually, I don’t mind funerals. I like cemeteries, the procession of the coffin inside the church, the priest’s prayers and spraying with holy water. Maybe I should marry a Corpse Bride!
