We can all experience and feel God’s love, Him in us and us in Him, “Contact with God”.The
Sacrament of the Eucharist is the focal point of our Christian faith.It was that last thing Jesus passed down to us before His death.Then after Three days he rose again in fulfillment of the scriptures and on Pentecost, He gave the Apostles the Holy Sprit to perform the miracle of;
Transubstantiation (in
Latin, transsubstantiatio) which is the change of the substance of bread and wine into that of the body (
Eucharist) and blood of Christ. That is our belief as
Roman Catholics.
It is the
Real Presence of Jesus , when you believe this and understand it, you will experience it and experience Jesus/God’s Love.Miracles occur every day in Catholic churches throughout the world.The scriptures tell us that, “He would be with us; us in Him and Him in us”.The reason some are “move” by
this video; and some moved by receiving the Eucharist, is that they believe.
If you do not believe in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, you probably will not feel anything at all watching
this video or while receiving the Eucharist.The stronger your belief, the stronger the feeling.Many people, including myself, cry or choke back tears every time we receive the Eucharist. This is called, the “
gift of tears”. Thank you God!This also occurs with other devotions, like the
Rosary or the
Chaplet of Divine Mercy, because people actually believe and then actually feel God’s Love and Mercy.
This is because, when people really believe, they really experience Jesus’ promise that; He would be with us; us in Him and Him in us.We believe in the “
Real Presence” of Jesus and because of our faith, He comes to us. For the ones who believe, we are overwhelmed by his presence, often brought to tears by experiencing His love. We that believe have a “Contact with God” often.Don’t you want to feel God’s love?I believe in the “Real Presence” of Jesus in the Eucharist and because of my faith, Jesus comes to me and I am overwhelmed by His presence.
Jesus will come to you too, if you believe.I experience his love and mercy and it causes me to reflect on
His Passion; and Suffering and Death for me. Imagine that, he suffered and died for me….and the rest of us.I actually feel the “
Contact with God”.This is the Secret, that many early Christians knew and is why so many of them; “
went happily to their deaths” rather than deny Christ and why I would do the same.
You too can experience God’s love, His miracles and be “moved” by His Mercy, by believing in Him, and experiencing the Sacraments He gave to us.When you believe in the
Sacraments, they become real, just as Jesus promised! Jesus didn’t lie when he said he would be with us until the end of time.
Believe and experience God’s love.
