Since the other forum has been closed I think this is the forum to make my post on. Someone on one of the forums said that we should thank the cardinals for their vote in the conclave.
Well this morning after mass I peronally thanked our cardinal for the vote of the cardinals. I said: “For what its worth Your Emminence, I want to thank you and the other cardinals for the vote,I think you got it right.”
I did not want to sound as though my opinion mattered but I felt I should thank them.
The cardinal’s reaction? He was pleased with the comment and appreciated it.
Cardinals are human like the rest of us and if we criticise them when they don’t uphold the faith, then we should praise them when they do.
