My daughter and her husband, both Catholic, married out of the church, just had a baby. I am trying to tread lightly as far as broaching the subject of Baptism. Is there a book that would not be preachy, but would be informative about the importance of Baptism. I don’t want to drive them further away. It just seems so hopeless that they will ever return to the Church. I would like to give them a nudge without pushing them over the cliff.

God Bless. 🙂

Our Sunday Visitor and Liguori both have pamphlets for parents on each of the sacraments of initiation, Liguori’s are in both spanish and english and cost 4-5 bucks each, the OSV magazines are about 2 each, very good scriptural and historical background of the sacrament, responsibility of parents, the rite and the meaning of the sacramental symbols and actions, and how to prepare your child.
