Baby bunny with injured foot

I found a baby bunny just sitting in the middle of the road as I was cycling. I stopped to see why he didn’t run when I passed by and on of his feet was crooked. A neighbor gave me a box and I took him home. I called every wildlife rescue in the county and they were all closed.

Since rabbits are delicate and can easily die of fright, I put him in our garden. It is a small garden enclosed in chicken wire. It’s full of small rabbits born this year because predators can’t get in, but they can go in and out. Pray his little foot gets better. He is a cute one.

EDIT: it’s going to be a rainy and cool evening in the 60s. Pray he stays warm and dry.

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (an injured baby bunny). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into an injured baby bunny’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
