*O most beautiful Flower of Mount Carmel, Fruitful Vine, Splendor of Heaven, who brought forth the Son of God still remaining a Virgin, assist us in this necessity. O Star of the Sea, help us, and show us that you are our Mother.

O Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and earth, we humbly ask you from the depths of our heart to help us in this necessity. There are none who can withstand your power. O show us that you are our Mother.

O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. Sweet Mother, we place this cause in your hands. Amen*
 
Eternal God , in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhastible ,
look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us ,
that in difficult moments we might not despair
nor become despondent , but with great confidence ,
submit ourselves to Your Holy Will ,

God has given Baby Emily the miracle of 20 days of life following her first miracle which was life at birth. This serious genetically damaged child has gone beyond each projection of her imminent death. There are still many hurdles she needs to cross. However, she is now at home with her family. Thank you, thank you for your prayers for that miracle.

Emily Marie is fulfilling her mission as an apostle of Jesus. Like the original apostles, she is bringing the message of God’s love to all who hold her. Her tiny damaged body is shouting that all life is valuable. All who hold her are learning that life, even when it is damaged in the womb, is to be lovingly protected.

Baby Emily could die tomorrow. But like the original apostles, she is giving every moment of her life in obedience to God. Like the original apostles, she is following Jesus. Like the original apostles, she will follow Jesus into heaven.

Baby Emily’s family, and all those who have met her, are very thankful for your prayers. In addition, your prayers give strength to those caring for her. In today’s culture, there is the temptation to abandon (abort) babies who may not live or may not be able to live what society considers a normal life. Emily Marie, sharing in God’s life by her Baptism, is saying that each child, regardless, is to be cared for in love. She is the tiny apostle to babies.

Please continue your prayers. This tiny baby’s family need your prayers so that they will have both the strength and the wisdom to care for her according to God’s will. When praying for miracles, we trust God’s will. When God grants a miracle, even one which may be short, we praise God and His almighty power. Then we get back on our knees and continue to pray for the miracle of God’s grace. Our prayers for Baby Emily and her family unite all of us, including the smallest of us, with our forever loving God.

Practical note: The extensive care which Emily needs can be tiring. I just saw a picture of Emily sleeping peacefully in her Dad’s arms. The wide awake Dad is on night watch.
He is smiling at 2:00 AM.

Thank you grannymh for this wonderful update. I am so happy to hear Baby Emilie is home with her parents! Thanks and praises go to God for this miracle! You can count on continued prayers being offered for Emilie and her parents. May she continue to thrive and astonish the doctors. God bless!
 
Baby Emily now has her eyes wide open. In the picture, she is laying check to check with her Dad.

We need to pray that all babies are loved, especially those like Baby Emily, who are fighting for their life within the womb.

Mother Mary,
Thank you for holding Emily with the same love you had for your Baby Jesus.
Teach us to imitate you. We need your precious help in this vale of tears.

We have witnessed a miracle. Yesterday, our own tiny apostle Baby Emily Marie participated, in her tiny way, in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. When we consider that she is sharing in the life of her Creator (State of Sanctifying Grace) she is totally God’s precious one. May we all reach the “totally” stage.

Please continue to pray. We do not know how long God will keep her on earth. In the meantime, like an apostle of Jesus, Baby Emily Marie is spreading the message of God’s love, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, which includes the “least” of us.
