Baby number#5 is due in December, and we can’t settle on the perfect name!! We don’t know if Little One is a boy or girl, but we have a girl name.
Baby is joining siblings:
Thaddeus Roman
Elowen Charlotte
Abram Augustus
Sebastian Mitchell

We like
Leo
Dominic

Middle name is likely Maximilian.

We joined the church at this past Easter Vigil, so we want a solid Biblical or Catholic saint’s name, but we can’t seem to find the right one.

Help!!

I have always thought Judah Ben-Hur is one of the coolest and manliest names but I only had one son. Since I’m the fourth, we named him after me, Donald the fifth. That and my wife probably wouldn’t go with it 😀.

Leo and Dominic are both fine names. Maximilian too. Congratulations!

If I were to have another son, his name was going to be Nicolo Joseph. That ship has sailed though, so have at it. 😊

Maximillian Dominic. Max for short. Great patron saints and the names flow well together.
May God bless your little one.
Amen.

The classic boy names for Catholics are the names of the Apostles starting with Peter and Paul followed by John, James, Andrew, Matthew, Philip, etc… Mark and Luke, authors of two of the Gospels are also popular names for Catholics.

Quintus would be a good first name. It means number five. There is a Saint Quintus too, from 255 A.D… He was a martyr put to death in Africa. His feast day is December 18th.

Middle name could be Maximus.

There was a Roman General named Quintus Fabius Maximus Verrucosis.

Not on your list but I always liked

Jude
Jesse
Peter
Francis
Anthony
Tobias
Raphael
Joseph

I like Leo, but also like Matthias and Gabriel.

Magnus is not a common name, chances are there won’t be three “Magnuses” in the 2nd grade classroom 🙂 St Albertus Magnus is quite a patron.

Leopold Magnus

Dominic Magnus

You say that but ten years ago I’d never heard the names Isla, Milo or Skyla. Now there are hundreds of them. 😀
