Baby with aggressive cancer

Baby Stella needs our prayers! She’s related to some people here in my town. Here is the note from her grandmother:

*My friends and family,
I want to share some very sad news with all of you and ask for all the prayers you can pray. My beautiful, little grandaughter, Stella was diagnosed with a very rare, aggressive form of cancer, on Friday. She is currently in Buffalo Womens and Childrens Hospital in PICU. She has a NG tube, a cathater, two IVs, and is intubated. The tumor started in her pelvis and is pressing on her stomach, bladder, rectum and reproductive organs. It fills her entire pelvis and spills out beyond. It has matastased to her lungs as well. Tomorrow she will have a biopsy and bone marrow testing. On tuesday,while she turns ten months old, they plan to give her a central line for chemo ect…I do not have words for how I am feeling or what my daughter and son-in-law are experiencing. And we are so helpless. Please do the only thing that any of us can and pray for a miracle. I have to believe that she will be cured and live to be a mother and grandmother, herself. Thank you. I’ll do my best to keep you updated.

By the way, today is the day the note was referencing. Today is Baby Stella’s 10 month birthday and the day she will be getting her tests and central line. Let’s pray :gopray:
 
This made me cry!!! Poor baby! What a horrible thing to go through for this family. Be assured I’m praying for Stella and her family.
 
Heavenly Father, please heal this young child of yours, Stella, as her body fights cancerous agents. Through the intercession of St. Peregrine, our Lady, and all the saints, we pray. Amen. :signofcross:
 
Like all bubs, Stella is beautiful and very cute. Will be keeping her in prayer and also yourself and all who love and care for her at this time of great concern…

St. Gerard, who, like the Savior, loved children so tenderly and by your prayers freed many from disease and even death, listen to us who are pleading for our sick child. We thank God for the great gift of our son (daughter) and ask him to restore our child to health if such be his holy will. This favor, we beg of you through your love for all children and mothers. Amen.

Thank you all so much for your prayers for Baby Stella! :grouphug:

One thing that gives me hope is that she is/was such a SPUNKY baby girl! Just look at that picture! If any baby can make it through, she can, with our prayer support and God’s love.
 
Praying very hard through tears for a miracle for baby Stella. God have mercy on this beautiful child!
