For a Sick Child

O Saint Gerard, who, like the Savior, loved children so tenderly and by your prayers freed many from disease and even from death. Implore Our Lord to graciously look down upon Luke, who has suffered brain damage. Ask our Lord to cure Him with His healing touch or take him home to glory. Also, dear Lord, please have mercy on his distressed parents, who plead with Thee for their child’s health. These favors we implore thee, O sainted Brother, through the tender love with which Jesus and Mary blessed thy own innocent childhood. Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.
