Crazy day today (nearby church wasn’t offering confession, drove over to my parish and got a one-on-one with my priest, etc.) but it was all worth it in the end. The 6-month… or more like 20+ year journey brought me to this moment! It’s an overwhelming and fulfilling experience and if I had the chance to do this all again, I will in a heartbeat.

I’m sure those who were at Easter Vigil tonight are feeling the same thing. 👍

Congratulations and welcome to our big, noisy family! Be sure and write the day in your bible. I know you think you’ll never forget the day/year, but believe me, you will be glad you did.

One journey is over, but an even better one is about to begin! So much richness to our faith and so little time…
