Would you please pray for healing in my back. I’ve been in pain for a week now and limited in movement. Went to two doctors and all I’ve gotten is pain meds and advise to stay on the floor for 72 hours. I’ve spent 21 hours and seem worse. Pray I have wisdom also in what to do.

Stay on the floor? Do you mean lie on the floor? I have a compressed disc thingie, and lying on the floor does help, but I have to put my legs up on something like the seat of a chair so that the small of my back isn’t arching. Back problems are lousy. If your back hurts, everything hurts. I’ll pray for you too, but try putting your feet on the floor, bending your knees and see if eliminating the arch in your back helps. My mother had lots of back problems from falling on the frame of the shower doors, and this helped her too.

Thank you for your advise. I slept on the floor as this doctor told me to and was in worse pain this morning so I’m not following his advise and doing what is most comfortable. I will be seeing a chiropractor later today for another opinion. I appreciate your prayers.

Jesus could You please ensure that M is precisely diagnosed with the help of x-rays or scans, and then receives the best advice and treatment.
I ask You to flood M’s heart and mind with healing and peace. Please remove from her the consequences of all the stresses and sorrows that this last year has carried with it, and please lead her and her family to flourish in 2010.
Thank You, Jesus.

And then, Lord, may I ask You for a new year for M and her family that is free from the illnesses, losses, anxieties and gtiefs that have characterised 2009 for them.
