Please pray for my coworker, TS, who has been suffering severe back pain for AT LEAST 3 months now from herniated discs. She has been to the dr for 2 rounds of epidural shots and going to physical therapy and none of it has helped. She will go for back surgery on 7/8. She hasn’t been at her new job long enough, so she only has 2 weeks of PTO. Dr says she could be off anywhere from 2-8 weeks. She has said that surgery means she won’t be able to go with her husband and kids on their family vacation this year.

St Jude, please help her to have a speedy recovery. Please hold back any restrictions that would hinder her from returning to work any later than 2 weeks so she doesn’t have to go without pay.

I’ve had surgery and 25 lumbar epidural for pain - I’m praying for your co worker. The more active she is after the procedure, the better off she will be! Hopefully she will wake up pain free and will once again enjoy playing with her children and living everyday life.🙂
 
Father of goodness and love, hear our prayers for the sick members of our community and for all who are in need. Amid mental and physical suffering may they find consolation in your healing presence. Show your mercy as you close wounds, cure illness, make broken bodies whole and free downcast spirits. May these special people find lasting health and deliverance, and so join us in thanking you for all your gifts. We ask this through the Lord Jesus who healed those who believed. Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal TS. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into TS’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
