Have you confessed this to a priest? Also, have you talked with your mom about what you’re feeling/experiencing for her to understand your perspective? It will free you from how much it still bothers you. Our hearts are restless, until they rest in God alone. Give God that sin amid confession & you will be forgiven. You don’t need to carry the pains of sin… let Christ take care of it. Don’t ever forget that you are loved unconditionally & we are all imperfect, so that we can cling to Jesus above all & follow His example. He is always the Way, the Truth, & the Light that leads to happiness. I am praying for you, sista-in-christ.
