I don´t know how to translate this, so I am translating it literally: I am an Extraordinary Eucharistic Minister of the Sacred Communion (please correct me if this is not the term in English), and I have noticed that some people get a sort of sour bad breath after receiving Communion.: It usually happens to elderly people.
I noticed because I talk to them before and after Mass.
And I know it is not because they haven’t washed their teeth because some of them belong to a residence where the people who take care of them help them do that.
Does anyone know why it happens and if there is some sort of remedy, advice or help I can offer them? I guess their relatives notice this and surely dislike it, but are embarrased to tell them.
Thank you in advance!
