Bad news about my health; need prayers

Dear CAF friends: I have been losing strength and balance for the last few months. Easter night, I dropped to the floor with no power in my leg. (I didn’t want to mess up anyone’s holiday.) I went to the hospital. But I was able to walk after receiving fluids. I’m now being treated by neurologist. I need some more tests to find out what’s wrong with me.

I’ve been swearing – which is not like me.

In short, please, please pray for me. I’m so scared. Yes, I’ll admit it. I’ve lost my physical and spiritual barrings. I pray God forgives my foul language.

Dear Lisa, praying for your health & recovery & for your doctors to diagnose the problem & develop a successful treatment plan of care.

This stuff is difficult to go through, so don’t be too hard on yourself. Just go to confession and focus on getting better. Life is difficult enough, but when health gets messed up, it can for a while, until one learns to cope, be very rocky.

May God send His Comfort to you and guide you.
 
Oh no! I hope you do not have ALS. Did the doctor give you any information?

I sure will be offering prayers for you. Stay close to Our Lady especially via the Rosary. This is a great opportunity for redemptive suffering. Offer it up:thumbsup: I certainly hope you’ll feel better.

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal njlisa. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into njlisa’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
