Bad relationship with my classmate

Hello! 🙂
I’m having a really bad relationship with one girl from my class.
She annoys me soo much, like nobody else. It’s just going overboard now.
Please, pray for me so I will learn to love her as Jesus Christ wants.
Also, any tips on how to deal with this situation?

Pray for her. It sounds simple and like it won’t really accomplish anything, but it can be really amazing! I have prayed for people I didn’t like, and it has helped a lot.

Here’s a psychological approach. A person who behaves unpleasantly, he or she wants you to react – angrily, sadly, or whatever. That’s the person’s reward.

If you give this girl smile and walk away, you’ve have taken away the reward.

Pity this girl. She’s behaving very immaturely because of her own hurts and limitations. She’s like a toddler throwing a tantrum for attention. In fact, Thérèse behaved the same way in her childhood.

Ask St. Thérèse to intercede for you and the girl. And read Thérèse’s memoir “Story of a Soul.”

Whenever you start to feel annoyed by her, allow yourself two minutes to reflect on the fact that she is a person, has a soul, and is someone’s child. That is what I do when someone annoys me. It really helps.

It is sometimes said that the things we find annoying in other people are characteristics we also have and don’t like in ourselves. The older I get, the more I see where that can be true. You can try to use your annoyance to guide you in learning about yourself more (and accepting yourself or changing whatever it is you don’t like).
