Bakugan - occultic?

[dizzy_dave]

My 10 year old son was watching a show this morning called “Bakugan”, it seemed a bit odd to me. It had dragons and demon looking creatures fighting on a game type board. These were cartoon figures. It reminded me of Dungeons and Dragons or something.

Have any of you heard of it or know of it? Is is occultic? It seems it could be. I found out a bit about it, but would like a Catholic perspective on it.

No different from Yu-Gi-Oh or any other of the other anime that are based on games; I don’t see anything that might hint of something that’s even remotely occult. The “powers” that game characters have are usually exaggerations to promote the game.
