The larger issue is my math innumeracy—ignorance and foolishness combined. Fear of money. The micro-issue is my paying by phone; lady said it didn’t go through; we repeated and she said it went through; lady next day said no such payment showed so we repeated; now my bank account is getting multiple hits and emptying with overdraft fees because of a doubled payment. Before I call again to explain this to the bank I thought I should pray.

May I humbly ask for obedience to God’s promptings; and a miracle of economic stability and Christ’s abundant life for myself and all those who “hear and obey”; all for the Holy Trinity’s honor and glory; received in highest praise and humblest thanks. And Lord, keep us and our countries free from entanglements; make us faithful and true and graciously preserve us unto eternal life. Thank, You, Lord. AMEN

Praying that your issue is resolved quickly and in a positive manner.

I hope we can all be inspired to start Catholic credit unions serving all parishes so that our cash can be put to greater service. Thanks.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women, and
Blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of our death,
Amen.

Praying for your meeting with your bank to be fruitful and helpful to you. May the Lord help this issue to be resolved with as little trouble as possible in accordance with his holy will. Amen.

I would suggest you go to the branch. If at all possible - go the branch where you opened the account- that makes a huge difference in the help you will receive and how far they are willing to go to help you. I probably shouldn’t say this, but it’s like returning a shirt from one department store to another. Each branch looks at their account holders differently than they do another branch’s within the same bank/ credit union. Basically, another branch won’t be as likely to help and waive any fees because it effects their bottom line and …your account or money is actually “booked” to the branch you opened the account. If the payment was made by debit card, cancel it immediately. That will stop any future pulls from the company you’re having the dispute with from any further damage. The bank will gladly issue another new card for free more than likely. If by check, I would place a stop on the check. If it’s an auto debit by checking account, you will need to place a stop pay to that company AND for the exact amount. This will also stop any future checks for that amount to anyone, but as long as you make the check for a few cents over or under until it is resolved you should be okay. Most importantly, if you made the payment, tell the bank you want to file a report regarding the companies actions. They will probably have you fill out an affidavit and possibly suggest you close and open another account depending on the exact circumstances.
Hope this helps some. Will keep you in my prayers.

St. Jude, pray for us!
Immaculate Heart of Mary, be our salvation.
Most Holy Trinity, one God, have mercy on us.
Amen.
