Yeah, like what the commenter said, I think we are headed for a big collective divine punishment. St. Francis’s holiness saved man from a disaster based on the failing civilization of his time, due to its sins. With common horrible sins all over the world, run by or most voters being believers in God, and no more Bl. Mother Theresas or St. Padre Pios left, I don’t know long we have left to appease God’s justice. Sure, we have unknown heros, but none that both most everyone knows, who match the moral teachings of the Church and its social justice do-gooding (so that they improve how we think about things). Are any Catholic order volunteer programs putting enough focus on doing little things for God or spiritual childhood?
