Can you baptize an adult mentally disabled person against the parents will?

Can they? Yes

Should they? No to probably not depending on the circumstance and their culpability.

Also remember that many people who are ‘mentally disabled’ are quite capable of giving consent for themselves. Only a basic understanding of what it means is necessary, not a master’s in theology level

Having worked with that population I know where you are coming from by asking this question. I found talking to my priest and other catholic friends about this very helpful. I think the best we can do is pray for them and there family.
