Baptism Candle?

Hi everyone,

Well a long time ago at Catholic elementary school, We had to bring our baptismial candles to class for a prodject. I unknowingly dropped it, and it cracked in half. I was young, about 1st grade age, and I didn’t understand.

My question is, will I need this candle again? What should I do?

The candle is for a remembrance and your personal use on the anniversary of your Baptism each year.
 
We used my husband’s baptismal candle for our son’s baptism. It still lit no problem even though it was 30 years old.
