Is it OK for an Infant to be baptized on Easter Sunday? Not at the Vigil Mass, but on Sunday.

Yes. There is no prohibition in Church law, and it is perfectly suitable to do so in principle. It would be a matter of prudential decision by the pastor and parents.
 
yes in fact it is the ideal date for baptism, we will have 3 infants baptized on Easter Sunday (in addition to the 12 youth and adults for the Vigil).
 
That was what I thought. The reason why I asked is that, a baby in my extended family was going to be baptized a couple of weeks ago. But due to the passing of my grandfather, the baptism was delayed. When the priest asked if we could do it on Easter Sunday, he said that due to the circumstances he would make an exception and allow that to take place. This is a small country church that does not have a regular baptism schedule like a lot of the big city churches. So I was wondering if the exception was something that was unique to him or if it was a general prohibition that he was allowing an exception to. He said it should be done at the vigil and not Sunday Morning, but the idea of having several kids sit though the vigil was not appealing.
