Baptism Passage in the Bible

There is a baptism passage in the bible that I can’t remember at this moment that states baptism replaced circumsision in the new covenant. Does anyone know if this passage is merely comparing baptism to circumsision or is this passage actually telling us that baptism replaced it?

*In Him [Jesus] you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead *(Colossians 2:11-12).

That is a Protestant Apologetics site and what they teach about this is not in accord with the teaching of the Catholic Church, which teaches that Baptism replaces circumcision. If you browse that site, you will see quite a few things that may cause you to raise your eyebrows. There are some articles on CAF that answer this question from the perspective of the Catholic Church–just type in a search.
