What would happen if a teenager wanted to be baptized but his parents would not let him/her? Would the kid be able to be baptized or no? i saw the AAA and saw that you need parents consent but what would happen in this senerio?

Depends on their age.

The priest would interview him/her. Canon law does not require parental consent for baptism over the age of 7. But, while a minor the child is under the authority of their parents. So if the priest believed this would be a bad idea, he could delay baptism until the teen was independent of the parents.

yeah, this is a tricky one.

throughout history, many have given up everything, including families to seek baptism

I don’t know though, I’m not a theologian, I personally don’t particularly like the idea of delaying baptism, just because, you never know what could happen in the future. we can all die in the next minute or the next day, it’s a crazy world

but I’m not a priest so… case by case evaluation, I think
