My husband and I were baptised in 2009 and I had a question. He was baptised as a teenager in the Ocean by a friend (volunteer youth pastor of the Baptist denomination) but couldnt remember if the correct form for words were used so he was “conditionally baptised” however the priest didn’t use the conditional words, just the regular “I baptize you in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit”. Im assuming this is still valid?

If his first baptism was valid, then he is baptized and what the priest did had no effect.
If his first baptism was not valid, then what the priest did was certainly a valid baptism, and he is baptized.
