I know it is permissible to use the baptismal promises (at least I think it is) in place of the profession of faith at times. I thought I read someplace that at a baptism mass it makes sense and maybe after East for a few weeks (please correct if if I’m wrong). But is it permissible to use the baptismal promises EVERY week all year? Also, I thought I heard something that if the priest uses the baptismal promises it has to be a longer form? Not sure I understand what that even means as I thought there was only one form.

No. It is allowed for baptism of a child in the Mass.

Prior thread: Can the renewal of baptismal promises regularly replace the Creed at Mass
