I wish I had an acquaintance like Bren. It is exciting to see someone making neat discoveries about the faith that we take for granted.
Bren, get excited.

Is there a place that everyone gathers to talk and discuss the Bible? like a chat room?

Hi Bren,Hi all.
RCCDefender Thank you for emailing me I received it last night.
I haven’t gotten to reply to any emails yet. But I hope to tonight.
I went to Mass Monday and today. It was so wonderful!!
I met a very nice lady that showed me around and gave me some wonderful advice and tried to explain some things to me.
Mass was only a small gathering this week. But I have met some fantastic people. Everyone has been so nice and helpful. I thought a few would be stand offish. But that wasn’t the case. Everyone was extra nice. You can truly see God working through them.
I went to our local library and I took all the titles everyone has given me to look up. And our library didn’t have one of them. They didn’t have nothing related to Catholics.
My husband said he would take me around to some used bookstores maybe this weekend and see if we can find anything.
I want to thank everyone that has replied. You all don’t know how much you have helped me . Each and every one of you.
I will keep you updated to more.
God Bless you all
Yes, and I think this is very profound. We (the Catholic Church) ceaselessly join in with the Sacrifice of Christ. He ceaselessly feeds us with the Bread of Life, His own living Self.Bren:
Somewhere around the world at any given moment a Mass is being held. We are constantly being prayed for. In turn we pray for everyone when we go. This is one of the applications of being in the “Communion of Saints.”

By the way, you may be interested to learn that the readings at the Mass for a given day are the same in every Catholic church around the world. The Church puts out the readings for each day and the readings tie in an Old Testament lesson and a New Testament lesson with a Gospel reading. (That’s on Sundays – on other days there are just two readings).May I ask a question about Mass?..
