Hello I have a quick question, I was baptized Catholic as a child, but my parents never had me go through communion or confirmation.

I’m slowing growing back into my faith, and I’ve got a lot to get off my chest…can someone like me who only received baptism go to confession?

I’m certainly not one to answer, but I think you cannot. I believe you must go through RCIA classes first as an adult.

Its best if you are instructed properly on how to go to confession. Why not approach a priest and ask him? He’ll be more than happy to help you.

Good for you Joeanna, but you really do need to speak with your local Parish Priest but do remember that whatever it takes you will be amply rewarded for your noble effort.
God bless. 👍
