So if you havent watched them. Check them out. These are three amazing video documentaries by michael stearns, released in the end of last century, and are basically moving paintings/photography that showcase the beauty of the world [no dialogue] .
Baraka being the most famous, it was the first I saw. And it was filled with tons of religious scenes, from all different religions. I thought it was beautiful, back in my young fallen away catholic days, and now that I’m back home, the scenes at the church of the holy sepulchre have even more gravity to me. Still love the movie, btw.
My question: does anyone know any other videos that focus on global christian liturgy, culture, architecture, art, etc, like what is seen in parts of chronos and baraka?
Bishop Barron’s catholicism series is probably the closest i could find although full of voice over and are basically snippits of b-roll.
Do you have any other options for something to enjoy similar to that of these 3 movies created in the same style?
