Barber shops too mature for son?

What do you do when you take your young teen son to the barber for a haircut and they have adult shows on all 3 of their tv’s with extremely raunchy talk and images on the screen?? There were two men in the chairs already. I know men get cuts during the day, but come on.

What do you do? Ask them to change channel? Go at a different time? Or just find another barber?

We just left there before even getting a cut. Disappointed.

Just go elsewhere.
I don’t think your son (if raised with faith and morals) is going to be corrupted by this though.
He’ll be out in the real world soon. It’ sa jungle out there. You can’t shield him form everything. He will also say “this is junk” and move on.

Were these shows cable shows with a mature rating?

You could tell the barber to please turn them off.

Or you could go somewhere else. Do you like your own hairdresser? Maybe they can do your son’s hair.

I go to Great Clips. I gave up on going to the barbershop.

I would take my business elsewhere.

I once went to a hairdresser and two of the workers were carrying on a sexually-related conversation. I never went there again.

Now I just cut my own hair, and my son’s hair. It’s a lot cheaper and easier that way.

Find a different barber. I will bet that there are moral men who operate at least one barber shop in your area!
