I would like to know if de las Casas will ever be considered for beatification. IMHO, his ministry, and his return to Spain and his work there are closely connected to Guadalupe. Juan Diego has been canonized, and JPII has apologized on behalf of the church for the abuses against the American Indians. When will the man who exposed the horror that the Spanish did be recognized for his actions in turning things around?
