Baruch 3:38 or 3:37?

Why in the Catholic bible the third chapter of Baruch has 38 verse while in the ESV Apochrypha and NRSV Baruch has only 37 Verses?

vs. 37 Non Catholic bible: "Afterward did he shew himself upon earth, and conversed with men. "

vs. 37 and 38 Catholic version: “{3:37} He invented the way of all instruction, and delivered it to Jacob his child, and to Israel his beloved.
{3:38} After this, he was seen on earth, and he conversed with men.”
 
Um … look at the previous several verses and you will see why.
 
Just a difference in translation. The content is the same.
 
  1. Verse numbering is not inspired nor infallible (nor significant, unless you’re trying to compare notes with someone, which is of course why the medieval scholastics invented verse numbers). Original documents did not include numbers - they are ALL later additions.
1a) different translations sometimes use different numbering. It’s confusing but not important - it doesn’t change the meaning.
  1. Any translation that includes Baruch is essentially Catholic since it is one of the books the reformers rejected.
  2. Neither of the above changes the fact that it is confusing.

Funny.

Well in fact I am making comparisons and I don’t want to get thrown off. Number systems should be consistent whether or not they are inspired. Inspiration is irrelevant. My NSRV has all the text of the LXX to include accepted Catholic, and Orthodox books.

I am curious to know whether verse,* Bar 3:38 Afterwards, he was seen upon earth and live among men.*

**Is this an interpolation added by Christians or is this verse genuine ?. Do we have any commentary of this verse quoted per-christianity i:e, Qumran scrolls ? **
