I know it is comics, but it should be interesting how they handle it:
Batman to Battle Bin Laden

Move over, Catwoman, Mr. Freeze and the Riddler – Batman has a new villain to bring down: Osama bin Laden.

DC Comics’ Caped Crusader will square off against al-Qaida thugs in an upcoming graphic novel called "Holy Terror, Batman!”

Well, I say it’s ABOUT TIME! 🙂

How cool is it that this is a Frank Miller project?!!

Not that cool. Dark Knight Returns was awesome . . . The Dark Knight Strikes Again was pretty lame. I am firmly convinced that great comics creators only get to write so many stories and then they completely burn out and spend the rest of their careers coming up with off kilter ideas . . . Chris Clairmont and X-Men (the original run) great . . . Chris Clairmont and anything he has done since . . . yeah, okay Chris . . . John Byrne and Fantastic Four, great . . . Superman great . . . Hulk . . . er . . . not so much. Grant Morrison on Justice League, awesome . . . Grant Morrison in X-Men, lets revitalize the series by having one of the most upright members of the group, Cyclops, cheat on his wife, have Beast turn gay, and generally turn the whole comic into a depression fest (and although it wasn’t his comic to write, I firmly think his shock value approach led to changing Nightcrawler from a devout Catholic who was exploring the priesthood to a wishy washy anti-Catholic cliche).

Not to mention that from a purely DC Comics based perspective, Osama Bin Laden is nothing compared to Ra’s al Ghul. In fact, in the DC Universe I could see Ra’s funding idiots like Bin Laden to cause problems. But then again, I would rather steer clear of real world events like this.

Batman will have no problems with Bin-Laden because he is not restricted by burearucracy.
