Wow - I just visited a Christian forum where anything goes. They have all kinds over there (it was Scary) I was lurking & couldnt believe those people even called themselves christians. It felt like they were trying to grab up inocent people & pull them into their beliefs…Im so glad Im back here where I feel safe & loved!!

I know you all know this already but wanted to throw my two cents in.

That’s the fact of this world, there are all types out there. Don’t be afraid to experience things, even if they turn out to be things we don’t necessarily agree with.

“Nothing ventured, nothing gained” 👍

Not everyone is called to be a ‘spiritual Marine’ or an apologist. I would suggest, if you feel called to right some errors on a ‘Christian’ forum, that you solely quote from Scripture to expose these errors, without personally commenting.

I’ve never gone to any other forums, this is my first. I felt the same way here for awhile (not that it was scary, just that I didn’t know what to expect, so I just watched for awhile).

I don’t think this is a bad place at all, as a matter of fact, it really is kind of addictive. I might actually develop a problem, I have to keep myself in check. 😃

Sometimes discussions get a little heated, but nothing any of us can’t handle, I don’t think anyway. I did see a whiner a couple of days ago, but I don’t think that is typical here. I believe most people at this site operate in love, I haven’t seen hardly anything I would consider hateful, or even unfair really. 🙂

uummmmm…freedom of speech…ever heard of it?
Sure have!

I guess when I started this post I was speaking to those that are new to the catholic church & are not secure in their beliefs yet. The WWW is a great place & other forums can be a wonderful learning tool - if you are knowledgable & are able to defend your beliefs!

Thanks!
