Payton is a beautiful 11 yr old girl with a 7 yr old sister. Her family is preparing to say goodbye to this amazing child as she goes to spend Christmas with Our Heavenly Father. Below is the last entry in her journal written by her father Jeff.

It has been a long 24hrs+ - Traci & I are also growing weary. I can’t help but think about Mark Schultz’s song (I have changed the words from “He to She”)

I’m down on my knees again tonight
I’m hoping this prayer will turn out right
See there is a girl that needs Your help
I’ve done all that I can do myself
Her mother is tired
I’m sure You can understand
Each night as she sleeps
She goes in to hold her hand
And she tries not to cry
As the tears fill her eyes

God knows what is best - Nothing comes our way that has not first passed through the filter of Gods love. Payton is pretty close to going home to be with her Heavenly Father - we had an awesome talk about Heaven and dying - she had me go and wake up Paige so she could kiss her and tell her she loves her - it was a very special time for the 4 of us. Payton also told Traci and I " I don’t want you to cry" - she’s so strong. Please pray for strength, courage and peace. We BELIEVE she will be made whole soon. Thank you for all your prayers and support.

I pray that you would fill this family with your love that brings comfort- fill them with the light of your presence, guide them through this time, hold them close to you and grant them every grace and blessing.

Father thank you for the privladiges you have given us in this life I pray that you bring this family into your arms, that you lift them up in this terrible time in their own lives. To metally prepare to depart with your child is a tribulation that requires so much strength.

Father I pray for this family and I ask that your pour your blessings upon them, and give them the strength to live life after this difficult time.

I ask all this in your sons name.

Dear Lord accept your beautiful blessed child Payton into your arms in heaven , Lord LET HER HEART sing praises to you Dear LORD ! Lord help her family and friends endure her leaving them , but let them know you are taking care of her . Thanks LORD for this, in Jesus’s name, amen .
