I just got back from mass at my university. I must say it was possibly the most moving mass I have ever attended. The place was packed! There were so many people that even though people were sitting two to a seat and some even came and sat on and behind the altar, we still had people overflowing into the street. The priest gave a beautiful service about peace and forgiveness. My university draws mainly from the NY/NJ metro area, so most of us knew someone who died that horrible day. We sang and mourned and remembered, it was amazing! I felt so much peace. I just wanted to share my little experience of Christ’s peace within pain and suffering. Never forget. ❤️

It was wonderful. It was at University of Scranton, its Jesuit.

The pastor of my parish, with the permission of the bishop, said a Votive Mass for Peace and Justice. It was beautiful.

I’m sure a votive mass was wonderful.
I can’t believe it has been ten years. It is still very painful for many of us, but today I felt some some healing and at one point I got chills and I could tell it was God’s love and peace in the chapel with us :angel1:
