Is there a forum for those of us who are in the process of becoming Catholic. I searched for a RCIA forum and it came up with nothing specific.

There’s a number of groups for it I believe. You could do a search for the groups, which essentially act like a subforum.

Why do you want a special forum for canidates and catechumens? The whole Point of RCIA is to be trained in the parish Life with fellow catholics. I do not Think there is a need for a special forum, even if i can somehow understand that you want to discuss the process with others in the same situation as yourself, and nothing wrong with that, but there is a lot of threads where you can ventilate your feelings about the process with others in the same situation and also get good advices from those who has taken the journey Before you, as myself for example.😃
 
Thank you for your response. It appears that your response to my question is no. Perhaps a forum for those of us who are seeking guidance as to the initiating process, could be added that would better prepare us, and supplement the RCIA process.

This is a very interesting idea, I actually tried to find one, but none close to it. Maybe you can’t find a forum just for this, but a section of a forum, indeed… like catholic class 101 for those that are new, or catholic class 102 for those who come back? xD

If you find one, let me know 🙂

The RCIA process is very special, when my wife and went through it in 2004 we made life long friends that have become family to us. It was and is a wonderful process. I wish you the best and you will be in my prayers. 🙂

Don’t be discouraged, you can still ask your questions and seek help and answers in the other categories on the forum. The categories are split up into topics, so people who know more about particular topics frequent those forums and can help those with questions.

Feel free to ask any and all your questions.
