We believe before Islam people will be judged on their deeds to enter heaven and hell. On judgement day they will be spared if they lived righteous lives.Do you believe non-Muslims go to Heaven?
I’m asking because one of the many things Christians and Muslims seem to have in common is the concept of an eternal Heaven and Hell.
In some Christian circles, people need to become Christian or “accept Jesus as the personal Lord and Savior” as they put it in order to go to Heaven.
I think Catholics believe only God knows who goes where when it comes to life after death, that’s what I believe.
So what is the Muslim position on salvation of non-Muslims?
After Islam has been formed we believe that non Muslims will go to hell if they reject the word of Allah having been given it by a Muslim. There is a school of thought that Allah will give people a chance of forgiveness on judgement day to choose Islam also within some jurisprudence.
It is slightly more complex than this but that’s the main summary.
