…and just by Muslims?

That is not anything like our just war doctrine
Of course not all Muslims would want to behead innocent people. Just as how not all Muslims would want to have all-out war against non-Muslims.

When calling Jesus a prophet, what do you mean? Prophets prophesy - what did he prophesy and are they included in your scriptures? Why did God give Jesus the historically unique honor of a virgin birth but did not honor Mohammed with at least as much? Sorry for so many questions, but as soon as one comes out it seems to lead me to several more! Like this one (sorry!): Who besides Mohammed witnessed his visions? How do Muslims know whether Mohammed had the ability to discern from whence his vision(s) came (from God or the devil)? Since the devil can appear as an angel of light, how do you know it was not a deception? Proof may be in the holy life he thereafter led, so was Mohammed especially virtuous? If so, in what ways? Heroic self-sacrifice? Giving all he owned to the poor? Staying away from all worldly pleasures (including relations with the opposite sex) for love of God? What public miracles did he perform? How many demons were cast out, how many dead raised, etc.? Thanks for your patience!
Jesus is a very important prophet and the miracle birth was also due to Maryam being an important role model for women. We believe there were prophecies of Jesus in the Torah and prophecies of Muhammad in the bible but the bible was corrupted.

Jesus was not born of a man and did not die, he will come back in the end days and that is why his birth was like this, he is a key prophet for judgement day.

But Muhammad was the final messenger of God so we place him as the most important prophet of all for this reason.

Muhammad performed many miracles and lots were witnessed by others. The Qur’an is written in a way that no man could write it. We believe there are many miracles in the Qur’an that prove Muhammad was receiving revelations from Allah and nothing else.

Muhammad introduced many rights for women in Arabia at that time where women were no more than slaves. It is said many babies born female were buried alive at that time and Muhammad changed all this. He gave a lot of money he acquired over time in battles and other events to the poor and to helping others yes.

We also believe in terms of relations with wives that Muhammad showed us that we should treat our wives with a lot of respect and make sure they are happy and fully satisfied with the relationship. He spent a lot of time with his wives. 👍
So it’s like our doctrine of just war, wherein war can be justifiable in certain circumstances. 🙂

Why is it that the secular media seems to block this doctrine? Secular indifference I guess… 😛
😃 The media can say many things. There is one Sura that is mostly dedicated to rules of war and how to behave in a war depending on circumstances.

But yes it is like what you said. 👍

I think it would be for our Muslim friend to clarify that as his statement revealed that Muslims would see beheading innocent people as just.

Two questions for the OP

What do you like most about Islam?

What do you perceive to be the biggest misconception that non-Muslims have about Islam?
I like most that Islam is very thorough and covers all aspects of life.

The biggest misconception? Is probably that Islam oppresses women, Muslim women and girls are very proud of their religion.

If what you say is true, why are not these Muslim terrorists thrown out of the Islam religion? The reports are that many hundreds, if not thousands, of innocent people have been massacred in cold blood by Muslim terrorists. These terrorists even make videos of such and put them on youtube for the whole world to see. Is it true that there are some Islam clerics that have blessed these terrorists and have not lifted a finger to reproach them?

How much of your time is spent dealing with others trying to pick a fight with you over your faith?

I believe there is a lot of misinformation about Islam in the world, so please ask any questions, I studied very hard theologically about Islam so I can answer almost anything accurately.
I think we understand Islam very well, its history is quite clear and so is what is going on throughout the whole world. The nature of every thing is determined by its actions. And the actions of Islam for 1,500 years tells us all we need to know.

Not really any time. I been in England, Canada and Belgium and nobody ever said anything. Online also nobody said anything, now and then somebody asks a question, but that’s it.

I am on many Muslim forums and speak to many brothers around the world, and yes many Muslims support these terrorists. It is very complex and there is a lot of confusion by a lot of people.

The interpretations of caliphates of rules of war of things like this is complex to understand or follow. Some Muslims feel terrorists are justified in what they are doing some do not.

But he said that war and actions in war would depend on certain circumstances. And he did point out that the Koran can be interpreted differently by different scholars in light of certain issues - like beheading.

No, I know it happens. I am actually considered to be quite politically incorrect, I mean c’mon I spend most of my time listening to Michael Voris. I was just acting slightly out of character. Well, more than slightly.
Yes I do that too sometimes. 😉

Well, this is the problem that many of us have with Islam. When Muslims shout “‘God is great,’” as they roar through the hallways of a school in Peshawar, Pakistan and kill innocent schoolchildren on sight in cold blood, leaving 145 dead, I don’t see this as a good thing to do.
Or when hundreds of children were killed in Beslan by Muslim terrorists and the surviving terrorist says: “I don’t feel guilty” and he is unrepentant 10 years after the tragedy

You say it is complex? I don’t think so. I think it is real simple. This is murder clear and simple - murder of innocent schoolchildren. And the failure of all Muslims to condemn it as such, and even some of them to support brutal murder of defenseless schoolchildren is something disgusting.

Under no circumstances in Christianity can innocents be killed (like the school children above) or the world trade center, etc…

But, as stated by our muslim guest, these things are “complex” in Islam and it is seen as just depending on who you follow.

There are 1.6 billion Muslims and some will be different to others. Some try to justify such things. I do not think killing children is justifiable and I am sure the majority of Muslims do not.

The complex thing is say beheading a journalist, some would argue he is aiding the enemy or he can be used to gain funds for the Jihad, thus it is permissible. It is complex this kind of thing.

See Catholic Whovian,

This would never remotely be considered just under our just war doctrine

This is why they try to sell journalists to the governments first. Some pay some do not. The ones who do not pay get beheaded.

But this is only the more extreme groups of in a very hostile caliphate. Most journalists will not be beheaded. I am sure if we look at ISIS the ISIS did not behead any Americans until America attacked them. This is them using the method of Jihad that they will only kill the Americans if America kills them, but they also offered a ransom first, if US don’t pay then they behead.

Beheading is permitted in the Qur’an as is Crucifixion. It is only to be done in a war not otherwise.

I see.
I am going to continue praying the Rosary daily for the conversion of the Muslims.

How about killing schoolchildren? Is that allowed? If not, why are Muslims who do such not beheaded?
According to a 14-year-old schoolchild Ahmed Faraz, during a Pakistan school attack he heard a Muslim terrorist say:
" ‘A lot of the children are under the benches,’ " "‘Kill them.’ "

This is the Taliban and this is hard to explain. I believe they wanted revenge on soldiers and they decided to attack a school with the soldiers kids.

Under Islamic law a male with pubic hair is considered an adult. And some could argue they were not kid so it is acceptable. Killing kids is not acceptable in Islam.

Of course almost all Muslims can say massacring 14 yr old innocents is simply indefensible but yes there is a very small small minority who will try to find that way to defend it I said.
