Hi everyone. I’ve been away and have missed you very much. My broadband has only become operative today - after a month.

Please pray for me and my new home. There are some very nasty things going on around me from family. My friends have made my new home possible and have been wonderful. Next week my parish priest is coming to bless it.

My greatest prayer request is for my brother and his wife. Neither of them practice their faith and they seem to be so bitter about anything outside their tiny world. They are not young people and have never had children. I have done EVERYTHING to keep the peace over the years but they seem to hate me. I can’t take much more of it.

I’m sorry if it doesn’t seem clear but, they need your prayers. They have a false sense of peace and not the peace of Christ.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.

Amen.

PRAYER TO
THE HOLY SPIRIT
Come, Holy Spirit
Replace the tension within us with a holy relaxation.
Replace the turbulence within us with a sacred calm.
Replace the anxiety within us with a quiet confidence.
Replace the fear within us with a strong faith.
Replace the bitterness within us with the sweetness of grace.
Replace the darkness within us with a gentle light.
Replace the coldness within us with a loving warmth.
Replace the night within us with your light.
Replace the winter within us with your spring.
Straighten our crookedness.
Fill our emptiness.
Dull the edge of our pride.
Sharpen the edge of our humility.
Light the fires of our love.
Quench the flames of our lust.
Let us see ourselves as you see us
That we may see You.

Amen.

Welcome back! Praying for peace between you and your family, and for the return of your brother and his wife to the Church. Please take care of yourself, I get the feeling from your second post that there is a lot going on for you right now.

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.
