Been reading the posts for 2+ years...but

have a question…I’m involved in Spiritual Direction on a monthly basis in person…but, recognize the limited time most Spiritual Directors have…if we created a place whereas Spiritual Direction could happen via computer (face to face)…would that be a good thing? Would people want it?
 
I could see that is a possibility.

Personally, the more personable something like that to be…the better.

However, due to time constraints, and priests being soooo busy… hey…the internet is a GREAT tool when used properly!

So, if it’s used because without it…a spiritual direction meeting would not take place… I’d be alllll for it. However, the more personible, and maybe even the more sacrificial the better.
 
what if presented as a way to know G-D…vs. a way to realize religion?
 
Often spiritual direction coincides with confession, which always has to be done in person.

But otherwise, I imagine using various new media in spiritual direction is a modern neccessity…much like writing a letter to one’s director might have been in the past.
