As long as the alcoholic beverage isn’t being used as a food substitute I fail to see how it breaks the fast.
Some individuals may perform personal penance by avoiding them on certain days but that’s their personal choice.
I consider my red wine at dinner to be medication for my heart (and soul) so its allowed no matter what!
