Lillith is most likely a myth and it is said she gave birth to thousands of demons a day. Sounds like a myth since demons are the results of falllen angels, not the offspring of Lillith.
In answer to the original question, yes I have heard and read of the mythical figure Lillith. No I do not believe she ever existanced. I also picked up on the pun when the figure Lillith was used as the wife of the psychologist Krammer in the TV series Cheers.
I have also heard of her and I also do not believe in her. It is the teaching of the Church that Adam and Eve were the first two people ever. You can read more about the Church’s teaching on evolution here:
How does the church believe this theory when God’s word says that “Death did not enter into the world until sin”? Romans 5:12. Man could not have evolved through many changes and many deaths if no one died until the first sin.
