And that quote that does not suppor your assertion that little old ladies talking in church are commiting blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

You posted that quote in a thread about people talking in church. If you did not mean that people who talk in Church are commiting the unforgivable sin, why did you post it?
 
I quoted Cardinal Robert Sarah, yes. I did not say, “little old ladies talking in church are commiting blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.” You did.
Are you retracting your misquote?
 
No, I quoted directly what you said and what, in the context of this thread, it represented.

Again, if you did not mean that talking before mass is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, why did you use that quote from Cardinal Sarah?

But why should those who want to quietly pray have to take such measures? Isn’t it those who selfishly carry on in the pews who should have to change their behavior?

They shouldn’t have to…just suggesting things. I’m a pretty non confrontational person so that’s probably what I’d do
 
If i understand you, it’s important to have some prayer time before the mass starts. I usually like to sit about 15 minutes ahead, and think during that time. Like you?
