I made that post just after my husband called me to say that the engine blew up in his Pulling Tractor…yes, Pulling Tractor you heard me right…a tractor that is super modified to pull alot of weight…kinda “redneck” … we own a tractor dealership (another expensive hobby Ha!) and he says the Pulling Tractor is “advertisment”…no…it’s a big toy for big boys…so…last night…he rebuilt the engine…cost…oh…a few grand…didn’t get home until 2am…BTW, I’m pregnant with child #3…8 1/2 months…ready to unload on him because EVERY weekend he is at a tractor pull until 2am both Friday and Saturday nights…

Sorry for the rant…

Airplanes? Guess my hubby could at least take me somewhere with an airplane…Sounds more fun than a stupid Pulling Tractor…

So, do you take your sweet wife on trips? You better!
I do take her ‘on the road’, when she’ll go. To her, the best part of flying is getting off the plane. Remember Mr.‘T’? She makes him look like Sky King. (You youngsters will have no idea who he is.)

Ooooo! I don’t think I could get away with a competitive pullin’ tractor, unless it could pull in some massive ‘bacon$$$’.
8 1/2 months pregnant? Out nights ‘til 2 fixin’ blown motors? :bigyikes: You tell him to stop that, or I’m gonna dump a load of ping-pong balls on that tractor. I know my way 'round 'Bama.http://forums.catholic-questions.org/images/icons/icon12.gif

Hey I remember Mr. T…not that young! Let’s just say thirty something!

Doesn’t pull in massive bacon…just cost massive bacon $$$$…it’s advertisment remember!!!

If the best part is getting off the plane…well, I must ask…are you one of those “hot rod” pilots?

Yes and no. When ANY non-pilot is aboard, it’s smooth and gentle. Minimum deck angles, standard-rate turns, less than 1000 foot per minute decent rates, with 500fpm decents desired. I don’t even want pax’s to feel the little jerk at the end of a stop from taxi.

On proficiency missions, well, that’s different. Steep turns, emergency manuvers, max climb and dives.Yee, haw. Man, that’s livin’. Gimmie some g’s.

I didn’t mean to hijack this thread, but you asked.http://forums.catholic-questions.org/images/icons/icon12.gif
