Being a Catholic in today's world is like being a deer getting attacked by wolves!

I don’t fear attacks coming from outside the Church so much as those coming from inside. The cafeteria liberal Catholics are undermining the Church far more viciously than atheists or protestants could ever manage.

Quite frankly, I wish they would get out of the Church since they really ARE wolves in sheep’s clothing and have done monstrous damage to the teaching authority of the Church. How was it possible for the Eucharist to be so trivialized that many Catholics no longer believe in the Real Presence, and how was it possible for so many Catholic to support legalized abortion, if it were not for the cafeteria liberals stampeding them in that direction?

:amen:

Why are they still considering themselves Catholic? I know there is a Church out there somewhere that these folks would feel more comfortable in…sorry if this is harsh, but I’d rather they leave. 😦

Who, in their right mind, would want to be Catholic today with such an abundance of religions to pick from??? Any conceivable God you can imagine is out there now, just a waitin’ to be worshipped. You can try them all on for size and see which one you like best!!! And… better yet, if you can’t find exactly what you want in a God, you can invent your own… Or, you can just forget about God and climb some corporate ladder or build a BBD in the burbs or get a new SUV or whatever…

I apologize for this not being directly related to the thread. Although it is a tangent and therefore somehat related. I began my own thread with this question but chickened out and deleted it. When I saw this thread it seemed somewhat fitting to ask this here.

What if I am wrong? Am I the only one who asks this? My experience reading these threads seems to indicate not many, if any, of you ask this question of yourself.

Sometimes the crosses I have elected to carry to be true to my faith get so heavy I ask, “what if I am wrong?” If in fact I am wrong, I gave up this world for nothing. This thought, as I view the ways of this world, never…and I do mean never, leaves my mind.

I swear, I think this is sooo true because here you have people attacking you and the Faith and all this garbage! 😦 It’s just so not cool!

I know it’s a bad analogy but in a way it’s true!

Maybe you guys have a better analogy! 😛

Deer, deer 😛
