So I have recently become the godparent of two. I know that my duty is to help raise these kids to know Christ. I also know that I should be praying for their souls. But I feel that I should still be doing more. What am I missing? Are there any good websites you recommend? Any advice would be great.

God Bless,

Just let them know you are there to support them and their parents. That they can discuss anything with you. Even outside of the realm of spiritual matters.
Most of the troubled kids we see in catechesis feel like they don’t have anyone to talk to without fear of repercussions, judgment, or hysteria.
Be there. Be kind. Be fun! Be supportive of the folks as well.

It is nice that you are so enthusiastic, but I suggest that you chill a little. There isn’t a lot “more” to do for godchildren of that age.

As they grow older, give them prayer books, Catholic oriented games, videos, etc., on birthdays, Christmas, and other occasions (in addition to prayers).

When they are older, and if they are near by, take them out on the anniversary of their baptism or their saint feast day.

I also take my local God daughter out on her b-day. 👍
