I am being admitted to the hospital on Monday.

I am not worried but I am a bit stressed. I have my Rite on Sunday - then my in-laws are taking me back to their house on Sunday night - then Monday morning mass with my FIL and then I admit myself on Moday morning. The hospital is three hours away and it will be two days to five days so my husband has to stay home until he is picking me from the hospital so he doesn’t have to shut the business down all week.

I am just glad I am not alone during it. But I will be no more than a wire’s length away from the bed so no, I cannot wander to the Chapel. Then we will be looking at more treatment options. Please pray for me.

I will certainly be praying for you. Please report back when you can and let us know how you are doing. May God give you peace, and grant your physicians and hospital staff wisdom in their care for you. God be with you.

You go it! You will be in my prayers!

Don’t forget to offer your sufferings up in reparation for sins. In other words, don’t waste your suffering! It can be very powerful!

Ever hear of Charlene Richard? She was a little girl in south Louisiana back in the 50’s who was dying from cancer. I knew the priest who visited her daily. Every day, she would ask him who he would like her to offer her sufferings to for that day, and usually, he’d mention someone else in the hospital he was visiting, too. It didn’t take too long before he noticed that the people she offered her sufferings for were having some miraculous healing, or at least unexplained quick healing! When she died, they were taking her bedding apart, etc., and discovered that she’d hidden her pain pills (must’ve been before the days when everything was so controlled like now). So, she was really suffering.

That is a really powerful story - but I think for now -I will hold on to my epilepsy medication as long as they let me have it - God willing !!! 😃

Well, I probably would, too. 🙂 You have to be called to go that extra mile, you know? 😃 But I wouldn’t waste any suffering, if it were me. Make hay while the sun shines…or is that when it doesn’t shine? LOL

Thank you rls - that means a lot coming from you - just keep praying and I will offer up some suffering for you.
