Would it be considered Modernism (in the Catholic sense) to say that “being Catholic is being fully human?” It seems to be because
*]it neglects the supernatural end of man; ergo, it seems to render unnecessary God’s grace (Pelagianism) and the Catholic Church through which His graces flow (extra Ecclesiam salus?), and
*]it implies that those who are not Catholic (e.g., atheists) are sub-human, which is an affront to Him Who created every person in His image.
God help us if these are the full implications of Modernism!
